When a former design editor launches an eco-friendly pet company, you know it’s going to be good! Enter Faunamade, the brainchild of former Remodelista editor, Meredith Swinehart. The new brand hand-makes interior design-focused goods for both dogs and cats from high-quality fabrics resulting in pet products us design-loving people will be happy to live with. Their first product, the Basket Bed, features one of five interchangeable cushion covers filled with a custom alternative-down cushion that’s tucked into a handmade, Fair Trade Certified jute basket. You can also purchase just the cushion or extra covers if you’re not looking for the whole set. Currently, there’s a choice of five fabric options – a medium stripe, a soft gray flannel, and three designer Japanese fabrics. Each bed spans 18″ in diameter making it perfect for smaller dog breeds and most cats.
